Where to Eat Vegan in Puerto Vallarta Mexico - And a Vegan-Friendly Resort!

In 2017 I had the best trip of my life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! I've been wanting to write this post ever since I went, and 2 years later, I'm finally making it happen!
In October 2017, me, my boyfriend, his mom, sister and brother-in-law all decided on Puerto Vallarta for our family trip. We were throwing around different options of where to go and I was doing what I do best and non-stop searching for vegan friendly locations. I came across this blog post showcasing how vegan friendly PV was and then I discovered Garza Blanca from this post. They were a newer resort and had insane all-inclusive deals and we all immediately said "YES!" We knew this is where we needed to take our family vacation. The city and the resort were both incredibly vegan friendly and absolutely stunning. Our resort had a wellness menu available at most of the restaurants (check the photo album below for menu pics), and since we did all-inclusive, I could order anything I wanted, as much as I wanted, all day long! A (vegan) foodie's dream! There were also a ton of gluten-free options, although I did eat some gluten on this trip. Pool snacks were also included so I could sit by the pool drinking as many margaritas and as much guacamole as my body would let me. This was truly a vacation.
We also went to Garza Blanca's beautiful spa (at Hotel Mousai) which has multiple spa stations included and is a must visit. And we enjoyed their free activities such as kundalini yoga on the beach, kayaking to the arches, and the waterfall hike with breathtaking views - yes you get to swim in a waterfall!

This was in 2017 and I hope the resort hasn't changed too much since then!
