Melissa is a plant-based personal chef in Los Angeles, CA. She's originally from Milwaukee, WI (yes, she's a Packers fan), and has been vegan since 2005. She is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a degree in clinical lab sciences, received her plant-based chef certification from Rouxbe online culinary school, and received a certificate in plant-based nutrition through T. Colin Campbell and eCornell.
Melissa loves cooking for people and the kitchen is definitely her happy place! She hosts events, demos, and workshops, and is always in the kitchen testing new recipes. You can also find her teaching cooking classes at The Delightful Table Plant-Based Cooking School in Los Angeles! She has done immense research on how to heal herself through food and is very passionate about nutrition. Her goal is to show people how easy and fun it can be to eat healthier and give them the tools they need to live their best, healthiest lives.

I scheduled a Mexican Vegan Cooking Class with Melissa Glazewski through the Delightful Table as part of my birthday celebration weekend. Melissa is a wonderful instructor and hostess - we received incredible instruction as well as tips and tricks on using a kitchen chef's knife. The food was all organic and the menu was awesome. We made pico de gallo, vegan queso, HOMEMADE TORTILLAS, and walnut "meat". The sense of community Melissa is able to create through her lessons with Delightful Table is an experience I will not forget. I will definitely return for more courses and plant based cooking recipes. You can BYOB, make sure to have containers for leftovers (I will be able to eat my pico all week, thank you very much) and be prepared to stand. Bon Appetite!
