Melissa is a plant-based personal chef in Los Angeles, CA. She's originally from Milwaukee, WI (yes, she's a Packers fan), and has been plant-based since 2005. She is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a degree in clinical lab sciences, received her plant-based chef certification from Rouxbe online culinary school, and received a certificate in plant-based nutrition through T. Colin Campbell and eCornell.

 

Melissa loves cooking for people and the kitchen is definitely her happy place! She provides weekly meals, nourishing postpartum meals, caters small brunches or dinners at clients' homes, or at rentals i.e. Airbnb, and offers virtual and in-person cooking classes just to name a few things. She is very passionate about nutrition and wellness. She never uses fake meats, refined sugars or vegetable/seed oils (unless you request products with these), only uses non-toxic cookware, and composts all of her food scraps, keeping her work as low waste as possible. She'd love to work with you, so feel free to reach out to discuss your needs!
